Grammy Award-winning Guitarist/Producer
WILL ACKERMAN
A year ago, I contacted Jeff Oster, asking him to come and play on "Dancin' In The Clouds". I noticed that Jeff's CD "True" was produced by Will Ackerman. I asked Jeff just HOW he had accomplished this! Jeff told me he asked him. So I contacted Will to see if he would be willing to produce several songs. Will immediately responded by saying that he'd listened to my work and that he looked forward to our working together. On my way to Vermont, I did not have any expectations... because I had NO idea how things would work out. I went to Imaginary Road Studios, overwhelmed with the beauty of the area, with a dream in my pocket, and came home a better musician. Will is brilliant in his craft as well as producer. I chose to have him produce the full album and I am happy that I did. He made me feel like I was a part of his world and I am proud to have him part of “Trillium”.

Grammy Award-winning Engineer
CORIN NELSEN
Corin Nelsen has the ears I have always wanted. I cannot hear like he can. I learned SO much from him. I listened to what he was hearing... and I must say he is a shining star in his craft. I am glad he is part of Imaginary Road Studios as Chief Engineer. He helped "map out" the music with Will... which is something I will always have as a tool to map out everything I do. Thanks Corin for the amazing job... I will be back!

Emmy-nominated Engineer
JEFF SILVERMAN
Jeff is amazing. He has such vision/talent. I sometimes wonder how it all came to be, but I am grateful it did. He mixed/mastered "Trillium". He also did production, sound design, and played the bass guitar on "Dancin' in the Clouds", “Blue Ice”, “Nez Perce”, “Tangled Up” and “Carpe Diem”, as well as drum programming. He truly gave me more than I expected!

JEFF OSTER
featured on "Dancin' in the Clouds" and "Midnight"
Jace Vek.. another talented musician friend of mine recommended Jeff for the horn part of “Dancing in the Clouds”. When I contacted Jeff, he was VERY cool, and made me feel like I picked the right guy for the creative energy that “Dancing” needed. After working with him, I decided that I wanted him on 3 other songs “Crystal Fields”, “Midnight”, and “A Roses Tale”. Jeff is a professional and talented guy. He has my thanks for his friendship and his hard work!

Grammy Award-winning Cellist
EUGENE FRIESEN
Eugene joins us on "Midnight." When Will Ackerman suggested Eugene way back in April, I looked him up on the web. Jeff Oster also had him guest on his album "True", so I listened carefully to the music that had him on it. When he came into the studio, he was fun, down to earth and easy to talk with. This man is an incredibly gifted Cellist. I have never experienced such emotion when he performed the track we wanted on "Midnight". What a treat for me to have him touch my music with his musical soul.

JEFF HAYNES
We needed more acoustic percussion, so Will suggested Jeff. I was not able to see him work, but I talked with him on the phone. He is a super-cool guy! His style of percussion added so much to the music. I am very proud to have him on the album.

Grammy Award-winning Guitarist
DAVID CULLEN
David is a Master Guitarist. Will recommended David for "Nantucket", “Carpe Diem”, “Tangled Up” and “3 Degrees”. I was not disappointed! The way he plays, the way he interprets his music, it was like he was always a part of each song. It was as if the song(s) were made for him... and I believe they were.

T-BONE WOLK
Legendary Bassist and Producer
T Bone came highly recommended by Will. He contributed his talents to many of the songs on the album, “Nantucket”, “Tangled Up”, and “Dancing in the Clouds”. He’s a smiley down to earth guy. He is a brilliant musician and I count myself one of the lucky ones for having him choose to work with me.

TOM SHINNESS
featured on "Blue Ice"
Working with Tom was a joy. Just watching him play and the expressions on his face was priceless. Jeff Silverman recommended him to me. He came to the studio with all these interesting instruments. He is featured on "Blue Ice", playing Fretless Bass, Zither, Harp Guitar and Cello. He caught the vision of the song, and I just love listening to that song!

AEONE
"Carpe Diem" vocals performed, arranged and produced by Aeone
I was recommended to Aeone by mixing engineer Jeff Silverman. She lives in the LA area, so I called her to meet with her. She is amazing. She is an Artiste/composer. Talking with her about music and composing was so refreshing. She has a great work ethic, and has such a beautiful persona. She agreed to work with me. When I first heard what she had done, I cried. Really, I did. I had my "Gladiator" moment when she delivered her beautiful vocals to "Carpe Diem". I feel enormously blessed that she chose to be part of the "Trillium" project.

Violinist SCARLET RIVERA
Will Ackerman called me to see if I could go in-studio here in L.A. with Scarlet on "Tangled Up". I called her and we connected so well, that we set up studio time and she did a fabulous job! I call her the Diva of Violinists.

JIM MCCARTY
featured on "Dancin' in the Clouds", "Carpe Diem", "Tangled Up"
Jim worked on "thejourney" with me in 2005. I chose him again to do drums because of the great work he did prior to "Trillium". He played drums on "Dancin' in the Clouds", "Carpe Diem" and "Tangled Up". He is SO much fun to watch play. He totally gets into the groove of the music.

Engineer CHRIS BAHNSEN
Sonikwire Studios
Chris came on board for recording the flute tracks on Nez Perce and the flugelhorn tracks on "Dancin' in the Clouds". I have worked with Sonikwire Studios since 2004. I was hoping to work with him as I was told he has a great ear for things and is very easy to work with. True to the "rumors", he was exactly that. Thanks Chris!
